It works great. I really like being able to set it to start in the morning so fresh ice is waiting. The TDS meter doesn’t work right—I use RO water (TDS below 10ppm per my meter), but the ice maker shows >600ppm, sometimes >900ppm. I ignore that and rely on my other meters.
Ice melts fast, causing it to freeze together like a rock when transferred to the freezer. Water temperature doesn’t go lower than 80. If the ice didn’t melt so fast, it would be great.
Read many reviews for various products. Came down to a popular brand and this ecozy chillio. ecozy chillio’s reviews convinced me. We’ve used it about a month. Sound, ice quality, capacity satisfactory. What I didn’t realize and don’t like: when placing ice in the freezer, it sticks together and is hard to break up.
Great product! Even better customer service!! Very patient with me. This is my second ecozy chillio ice maker! Getting another! Don’t hesitate to get one! Make sure to use filtered water though! Fast ice! GREAT little crunch cubes! Quiet!
Not the ice I expected when it says nugget ice. I had the GE Opal and loved it, but it went out twice, so I chose this. The ice is like mini cubes but not as chewable as actual nugget ice. Still good and works great so far, but not exactly what I hoped for.
